"Useful, but maybe not worth it for occasional travel"
seats definitely helped me find a few award seats, so I can’t say it doesn’t work. I’ve used it maybe a handful of times, and it saved me some searching. That said, the price feels a little high for how often I actually need it. If you’re booking trips all the time, like a few times a year or more, it’s probably a solid deal. For someone more casual like me, it’s useful but harder to justify.

"Confusing Start and Not Enough Help"
Getting started was confusing. The onboarding felt rushed, like it was trying to get me through everything as fast as possible, and I kept feeling like I didn’t really know what I was supposed to do next. The guides weren’t much help either. They didn’t explain enough for someone new, and I found myself running into the same confusion over and over again. I just wish there had been clearer steps, more detail, and a little more actual guidance.

"Support was kind of slow"
I had to wait a bit longer than I expected to hear back from support. They did eventually respond, but the whole experience just felt...

"I do like that my account feels..."
I do like that my account feels really locked down, and it’s a relief not being asked for random extra info. The privacy settings are clear too, which helps. Sometimes it makes me feel a bit trapped in all the security steps, but overall I’d rather have that than feel exposed.

"Useful… if it happens to cover what you need"
I really wanted to like seats, and to be fair, it does work nicely for some big routes. Naturally, the ones I actually needed were nowhere to be found. The airline program coverage also felt limited unless you’re using the usual popular ones. I kept clicking around, switching programs, trying different routes, doing that fun little points-travel treasure hunt thing, and still didn’t find much that was useful. It’s not a bad tool, but for me it didn’t save much time. I’m guessing it’s great if your routes and points line up perfectly with what they track. Lucky you, if that’s the case.

"Login is usually fine"
Most days I can get into my account with no trouble. The login is quick, and when I forgot my password, the reset email showed up fast. One time it randomly logged me out, which was annoying. I was ready to fight my phone. But it wasn’t that big of a deal.

"Works fine, but the setup was frustrating"
The API itself is useful and does what I needed, but getting it set up took longer than it should have. The docs weren’t always clear for my integration, and I had to spend extra time figuring out things that could’ve been explained better...

"Always Up to Date"
I like that it’s always up to date. that’s the main thing I noticed right away. I don’t have to keep checking if I’m missing something or using old info, which is a relief. Also, it just feels easy to rely on. Not much else to say, but yeah, it does what I need and stays current.

"Reliable alerts that helped me snag seats"
I mostly use seats.aero for the alerts, and they’ve been reliable for me. A couple of alerts did come through a little later than I would’ve liked, but overall it’s helped me spot award seats I probably would’ve missed on my own. I also reached out once and support basically said something like, “alerts can depend on how often availability updates,” which made sense. Not perfect, but definitely useful.

"I’ve been using seats.aero for a little..."
I’ve been using seats.aero for a little while now, and the thing I like most is how simple the results are to read. I can quickly look through dates, routes, and points without feeling like I’m digging through a mess

A few of the filters took me a minute to figure out, but once I got used to them it definitely saved me a bunch of clicking around. It’s been really useful when I’m checking for award seats

"I’ve been using seats.aero for a..."
I’ve been using seats.aero for a bit now, the uptime has been solid. Down when I needed it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it be.
The pages load fine, alerts come through, and flaky it doesn’t feel like some other travel tools I’ve tried. It just kind of does what it’s supposed to do.
Not a whole lot more to say, really. It stays available, works when I open it, and for me that’s enough. Easy 5 stars.

"It works well on my phone, but..."
It works well on my phone, but it feels a bit cramped and I don’t have the patience to keep fiddling around with tiny buttons

"Useful, but a little confusing"
seats is useful, and I was able to find the seats I was looking for, so that part was great. But, like, once I got to the booking part, I was kind of unsure what I was supposed to click next. It did all work out in the end, so no major issue, but yeah, I just wish the next steps were a little more obvious.

"Useful tool, but the speed needs work"
I really wanted to like seats because it does provide some genuinely useful information. That said, the search speed has been frustrating. Pages can take a long time to load, and sometimes I’m just sitting there wondering if it’s actually working or if it froze. When the results do come through, they’re helpful, but the slow searching makes the whole experience feel more annoying than it should be

"Community advice can be hit or miss"
From what I remember using seats.aero, the community advice was decent, but mixed. A few people gave me clear, useful tips that actually helped, while some replies were more like basic stuff I already knew. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, I just wouldn’t count on every answer being super helpful.

"Quick and Easy Seat Search"
I found seats really fast and didn’t have to deal with any hassle, which was a relief. I’m usually wary of customer service because it feels like they only help after you’ve already wasted a bunch of time, but thankfully I didn’t need them at all. Everything was straightforward and headache-free.

"Refreshingly honest about its limits"
I actually appreciate that seats.aero doesn’t pretend to be perfect. It’s clear about what it can’t show or what might be missing, which makes the whole thing feel a lot more trustworthy. For award searches, it’s a handy tool and the straightforward vibe definitely makes me more comfortable using it.

"Super Helpful, Even If It’s Not Perfect!!!"
I use seats often, it’s been really helpful!! Most of the time the award seats it shows are actually there, but I have had a couple times where I clicked through and... nope, they were already gone!!! Still, it saves me from doing a ton of manual searching, so I definitely keep coming back to it

"Helpful tool, but updates can feel slow"
I’ve used Seats.aero a bunch when I’m trying to track down award seats, and from my experience it’s genuinely useful. It saves me time compared with checking airline sites one by one, and for the core thing I need it to do, it works well.
The main downside I’ve noticed is that new features and changes can feel a little slow to roll out. I’ll see people asking for certain improvements, and it sometimes feels like they take a while to happen. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but based on using it regularly, I do wish it moved a bit faster

"I canceled my plan thinking it would be..."
I canceled my plan thinking it would be straightforward, but the refund process ended up being kind of a hassle. From my point of view, it felt like there wasn’t a clear path or much communication, so I kept having to check back and figure out what was going on. Maybe it works fine for some people, but for me it was confusing, slow, and not a great experience
